My life style is pretty relaxed. I don’t enjoy a routine. I like to keep busy, but without it causing me stress. I go to college, write in my free time, hang out with some friends going to the movies, the theater or some concerts; and I enjoy the cultural aspects of life (museums, learning workshops) I take French language and cooking classes. When I have free time and in weekends I sit back and prepare my film projects; I tend to shoot in vacations before starting the new college year.

I am a filmmaker in Venezuela, part of the new generation of independents that are starting their careers. I studied in NY, in Tisch School of the Arts and NYFA. I am also studying a second career in Venezuela; journalism, because it has been a passion of mine since I am a child. Other than filmmaking, all my passions are artistic; I write stories and scripts, I compose music and I also studied artistic and advertising photography. All my life I have been quite dispersed in art, I have studied all these forms of art wanting to be a professional at each one of them, yet I ended up being a film director. I don’t believe I have wasted my time, I think all that I have learned has molded my aesthetic and influenced my vision. Without it, I wouldn’t be the director, or person I am. In film directing I found the career that englobed all the things I liked, and that would allow me to do all the things I love. I write the stories of my movies; I light them, and create the music for them. I don’t do all these things out of the blue, I tend to believe its an individual need; one form of art wasn’t enough to express all I wanted, so I turned to several. As you can see what I am in my profession, has a lot to do with who I am as a person. It’s a big part of me.

I am mostly searching for friends, I don’t rule out the possibilities of finding love through the net because one doesn’t know through which door that can come, but it isn’t what I am looking for exactly. I like having friends. I moved around a lot when I was kid, and even when I went to college, I went to study in the US, and not a college in my home country so when I came back, I felt like a foreigner in my own country. I value friendship a lot. I would like to be friends with anyone who is nice and enjoys the same activities as me. You can be from anywhere. I do travel a lot, so it matters little where you are from. If you are Venezuelan, all the better!
